Shannon's journey from veterinary nurse to professional dog trainer forms the foundation of Unleashed. Growing up on a working farm with stock and dogs she brings calm, patient energy to every session and a deep understanding of why dogs do what they do.
Our team is small on purpose. It means you get consistent, personalised attention from people who genuinely care about your dog.
Harley
Trainer
Harley's background in Veterinary and Wildlife Sciences led her to discover a passion for dog behaviour. She finds immense joy in watching the dynamic interactions between people and their dogs, and loves helping owners see real progress.
Georgina
Groomer
With over 12 years of professional grooming experience, Georgina focuses on ethical, holistic handling. She makes sure every dog feels safe, respected, and supported throughout their visit, and she is always honest about how the experience went.

Maggie is the friendly voice you will hear when you call and the person keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. She makes sure every client is looked after from the very first enquiry, while trying to keep the team on task!

We are based at our indoor training centre at 2/236 Quanda Road, Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, so the weather never stops us from training. When your dog is ready for added distractions, we head out into the real world.

Private training suits dogs with behaviour issues like reactivity or anxiety, and starts with a 2 hour initial consult. Group classes run from Puppy Class at 8 weeks through Levels 1 to 3 and Life Skills. Dog Sports offers Rally, Scent Work and Barrel Race. Absolutely. Reactive dogs are actually the biggest part of our business. Our trainers specialise in understanding the root cause of reactivity and building a plan to address it. If your dog has bitten before, we can still help.

Yes. Every service requires a current vaccination or titre certificate when you book. Puppies need at least their first vaccination before Puppy Class.

Yes, we groom all breeds and sizes. Our groomer Georgina specialises in creating a low stress experience, particularly for anxious dogs. We are also very popular with Oodle breeds like Cavoodles and Groodles. Georgina also loves a good deshed on those thick double coated dogs!

You can book online through our website, where prices and available times are shown for every service, or give our admin Maggie a call on 0493 818 387. There will then be some paperwork to complete to make sure you and your dog get everything you need, and then you are away!
