Dog Grooming Services

Both a basic and a style groom include a bath, blow dry, paw pad shave, nail trim, scissoring around the feet and ear plucking if needed.
The difference is a basic is one short length all over, where a style groom has different lengths, particular styles, longer length or scissoring.

Most curly and fluffy coats, like oodles and poodles, do best every 4 to 8 weeks. We’ll suggest a schedule after the first groom.

It depends on your dog's coat, size and the style you want. It's important to consider their lifestyle and how much grooming you do at home when choosing your dog's groom. If you're unsure, chat with us when you drop your dog off and we can help you decide.

We'll talk to you honestly and let you know what is possible and what is fair on the dog. Brushing out heavy matting can hurt, so we'll explain what we found, the kindest option for your dog, and how to keep the coat mat free from there.

Basic Groom & Style Cut
Ideal for oodles, poodles, terriers and any coat that keeps growing. Keep their coats clean, stylish and mat free.

Double coated breeds like huskies, German Shepherds, golden retrievers, kelpies, cattle dogs and border collies, as well as thicker coated short haired dogs like pugs and beagles. Any dog that leaves hair all over your house will benefit from a good deshed! Your house and vacuum cleaner will thank you.

For longer coated dogs such as shepherds and samoyeds, every 6 to 8 weeks keeps the coat from compacting. For shorter coats, the more regular the visits the less hair at home, but at least once a season, and especially as the weather warms up heading into a Sunshine Coast summer.

Yes. Lifting out the loose undercoat means far less of it ends up on your floor, couch and car.

Clearing the dead undercoat lets air reach the skin, which helps keep your dog cooler and more comfortable in the Queensland heat.
We do a deep clean, blow dry and deshed brush out, shave paw pads, scissor tidy the feet and feathers, and trim nails.

Deshed
For thick double coats like huskies, shepherds, retrievers and kelpies. A deep wash and blow out lifts the loose undercoat, so less of it ends up on your floor.

A bath, blow dry and tidy of the face, feet and hygiene areas, plus a paw pad shave, scissor tidy of the feet and a nail trim. No length is taken off the body. It keeps your dog fresh and comfortable between full grooms.

Bath and Blow Dry
A bath and blow dry includes a bath, blow dry and nail clip.

Yes. A bath and blow dry is a great freshen up between grooms, and it's a gentle way for nervous dogs to get used to the salon.

Yes. Nail clipping is available on its own or added to any groom, and we take it slowly for dogs who are worried about their paws.

We're based at 2/236 Quanda Road, Coolum Beach, on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. We welcome dogs from Coolum, Peregian Beach, Yaroomba, Marcoola, Mudjimba, Noosa, Eumundi, Yandina, Maroochydore, Buderim and across the Sunshine Coast.

Yes. Our trainers can work with you and Georgina on a plan to build your dog's confidence with handling, tools and the dryer, visit by visit.

Let us know about any health issues, sore spots, past grooming experiences and anything your dog finds stressful, so we can plan the calmest groom possible. We have an intake form for you to fill out before your first groom to make sure we know all about your dog and can give them the best possible experience.

Yes, we groom all breeds and sizes. Our groomer Georgina specialises in creating a low stress experience, particularly for anxious dogs. We are also very popular with Oodle breeds like Cavoodles and Groodles. Georgina also loves a good deshed on those thick double coated dogs!

You can book online with the book now button on our website or give our admin Maggie a call. There will then be some paperwork to complete to make sure you and your dog get everything you need, and then you are away!
