Meet Georgina

Dog Groomer

I’ve grown up surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes, and caring for them has always felt completely natural to me.

My journey in the animal industry began as a volunteer kennel hand with the RSPCA in Perth, where I learned just how important patience, compassion and understanding are when working with dogs from all walks of life.

After completing my Certificate III in Animal Studies, I went on to work with Brisbane City Council at their animal shelter. I then completed my Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and returned to RSPCA as a vet nurse and shelter assistant.

I’ve also been fortunate enough to work abroad on desexing drives for street dogs and cats with a charity organisation, an experience that deepened my commitment to animal welfare and ethical care.

While I valued my time in clinical settings, I realised I truly wanted to work in a space that felt fulfilling and joyful, helping dogs feel good and building positive experiences with them. I’ve now been grooming professionally for over 12 years, completing my Certificate in Dog Grooming in Cleveland and continuing my education ever since.

For me, grooming is about so much more than how a dog looks at the end of their appointment. The most important part of my work is the relationship created on the grooming table. I focus on ethical, holistic and caring handling, making sure every dog feels safe, respected and supported throughout their visit. I’m always looking for new ways to enhance the grooming experience, for both myself and my furry clients, so each appointment is calm, positive and tailored to the individual dog in front of me.

I look forward to meeting you and your dog soon.
