At Unleashed our initial private training consult is designed to delve into the issues at hand and your specific needs and goals with your dog.
Our professional trainers will conduct a detailed assessment to dig deep into how you live with your dog in the home, to get to the root cause of the problems so we understand the why of the behaviours (surprise the dog sleeping on your bed is usually not a part of it!), details of what you have tried in the past and what you want to achieve in the future. This allows our experienced trainers to design a training plan specific to you and your dog’s needs, all in the safety and comfort of our indoor training center in Coolum Beach.
Your session will include an assessment, provide a clear understanding of why these behaviours are occurring allowing you to make sense of the training plan developed and how we plan on making change, as well as the practical skills you need to make meaningful change.
Our trainers are there to support both you and your dog along the way, the human end of the leash is just as important as the dog!

Our highly experienced trainers do not need to see your dog behaving badly, we do a thorough assessment to determine the problem behaviours and gain a lot of insightful information observing your dog and asking you many questions during our assessment. Even if we don’t see the behaviour on the day, we believe you!

No dog is too old for training! What outcomes can be achieved and how long it takes to achieve these outcomes varies from dog to dog and is assessed in our assessment.

We sure can, our initial consult is perfect for us to get to the bottom of the reason for this and advise on the best course of action. Our trainers are highly skilled in working with these dogs in a safe and supportive manner.

Once our trainer has assessed yours and your dogs goals and needs we can then give you a training plan to move forward and best achieve these outcomes, at this point we can advise of further training options. Pending what we find it may be you go into group classes, continue with private training, continue on your own or a combination of the options.
